Heyy! Been a loong time since the update yea?

Probably cos Im more of a Tumblr-er. Hee.

Geez, so what’s been happening for the past few days, weeks? How long since I updated again?

Allright, aside from the fact that I was in a rush against time baking cakes, preparing my house and Aunt’s house for Raya, racing to grab a last minute baju kurung for myself and that for the whole first week week of Raya my whole family’s down with stomach flu, yeah I’m fine. No scrap that. Im not fine. I still am very stressed about a few kinks in my life here and there. Its all in the name of management and focus.

PHEW.

Anyways. I just went for the jalan raya outing with the Coffee Bean mates! It was fun and yeah I did enjoy myself. And oh, yesterday, I went to work! After what seems like practically 2 months of not working, I can tell you it was a real killer. From my fear of cashier-ing to unsteady-at-first-allright-on-the-go-afterwards with the iceblends, espresso station and no, don’t ever ask me about gourmet!

Oh look, its already 0332 hours. Sleep, sleep. I need the sleep.

Hello people!

I was just done watching an intriguing show, Criminal Minds.  Really,  at times I really wish that I can become part of the investigation team. Pretty scary but interesting all the same huh?

Anyway back to the topic, it was about multiple personalities which reminds me of a favourite novel titled, All Around Town. Its  about this girl who was kidnapped at the age of four and freed due to circumstances at the steps of a school in town for people to find her. By the time, she was nine and had developed multiple personalities. You can imagine what the kidnappers had done to her to cause such unfairness to this child no?

Gosh, I know Im beginning to sound like your school headmistress, your religious teacher or even your mammy. But, dont you ever get yourself thinking why do we behave the way we do?

Common sense tells me reasons for the normal us. But people like Adam and his multiple personality, Amanda in Criminal Minds? Im thinking abusive childhood.

Hee, that was my so-called umm intermission? Hee. I just went for a 5 min break, Dad came home with large fat fries with creamy mayonaisse and spring chicken! Couldnt resist having supper right there and then.

Okay so as I was saying..

Im thanking Allah and am feeling extremely grateful tonight for giving me a complete family, definitely with a flaw in each and everyone here.

But as Im watching them, especially my parents, and I thought of my childless Aunt and Uncle and my Aunt who lost her love and never married and my late grandparents.

These are the people who brought me and the siblings up.

And who gave us the complete childhood full of love, never felt the lack of it.

And I thought that this lacking in love must be the biggest problem for those kind of people that I was thinking about.

Oooh look at those lashes! How I wish I’ve got natural long lashes like that..|daydreams|

Ive been thinking to try on fake lashes, but I dont know.. we’ll see about that. Oh and Julie darling those lashes you bought for Raya the other day? I find they are really pretty and natural looking. I really need to find some time off to buy the mascara and nude lipstick or gloss.  Gee.

Anyway, Ive been so caught up with baking these few days. And ooh lala, if only I have the time, I’d bake and bake all day long. Next on my list will be chocolate caramel fingers and chocolate fudge biscuit. Suweet!

Aunt and Uncle are here and they got us some pineapple tarts |shaped like a pineapple| and crispy cornflakes from CNI. Lovely of them!

Oh yeah! I’m writing a story based on the title Promises. Why? Just because. Hehs.

Ok, really this post is very boring there’s no content zero zip zilch okay shut up, I really dont know why I bother to write at all. Okay bye.

Being materialistic is one thing.

Being fashion conscious is another.

Having non the enough kachings simply hit rock bottom.

Anyway, I got all down and dirty in the afternoon revamping an old lamp.

Its just an old lamp, u think?

Well, how about I happen to paint it with this high gloss finish thingy in a golden brown and get it smeared all over my hands and arms and having non the too fragrant thinner on me. Yikes. Im thinking the shade should be fabricated with some flowery prints and lace the edges with swarovski crystals. Ooh. And Im thinking shopping for it first thing tomorrow. Perhaps.

Oh btw, Im learning to cook some sambal goreng and lemak ayam cili padi. Smack that. Hunnybeebee, ou’re in for a treat.

Just look at that!

Turkey and cheese, turkey and ham, crossaint,  apple crumble pie, deep fried fries, fried rice and honey-lime iced drinks! Wee..! What a spread, but oh oh, we don’t do this everyday you know? We’d usually prefer our break fast to be easy and light with rice and a dish or two. Ooh, I wished I lived nearer to Sembawang Shopping Centre! I’d be a sure regular at Giant’s bakery corner. Ooh, suddenly I’m craving for a cheese rolled bun! |yummy yummy!|

Beauty tip of the day:  For healthy and beautiful feet, wash your feet on a daily basis, in lukewarm soapy water then, rinse them with cool water, dry with a towel and apply foot cream OR scrub your feet, especially the heels, with a foot scrubber on a regular basis. It will help remove the dead cells and make your feet softer.

Hello sweethearts and welcome to the new blog! Just decided that blogspot is over and done with for me. I know, I know its been a little on the rusty and the dusty, agree?

Going on, going on..

Went to Geylang with the Mommy. The weather today was the ultimate blissful to the power of ten. Seriously. Bought the materials that were supposed to make our house look Victorian. Super excited! Anyway, my eyes were going goo-goo-ga-ga already over the super hot kebayas and stunning baju kurungs. And I’ve finally decided to go with, offwhite with a touch of warm honeygold this year. And pardon me Mom, for the shop-till-you-drop mode I geared onto just now.  As you know, your daughter is the most fickle-minded, when she wants to.  |smiles|
